The rules state that participants must be women, and cannot wear tankinis, one-piece suits, shorts or cover-ups; otherwise, those individuals would not count as part of the record. They were also required to wear an official pink Bikini Parade hat which signaled to officials which women were part of the one-mile march along the pristine sands of Panama City Beach. “This is not something you see every day, the organization to put this together was incredible,” the Daily Mail quoted Philip Robertson, Guinness World Records adjudicator as telling news channel WJHG.
