This Awesome Facebook Smartphone Concept Will Compel You To Buy It [PHOTOS]

Just a week ago, we reported about the world-famous social network, Facebook looking to get into the hardware business by launching it’s own smartphone by next year. However, some Facebook fans are already anticipating the smartphone by making concept designs of how the Facebook phone would look like.

This Facebook mockup by Michal Bonikowski certainly strikes as a Facebook phone the moment you set your eyes on it. For one thing, it comes in that distinguishable Facebook-blue color, which makes it stand out in a world of black and white smartphones.

The second thing that you will notice is that this Facebook-phone-concept resembles an Android on the front (more like HTC devices), while the rear has got a look quite similar to an iPhone, if you rule out the bluish color and the camera placement.
The concept doesn’t has much info in terms of specs, nor on the software operating the phone. The only thing it shows is a 4.2 inch screen, and an 8 Megapixel camera on the back. A front camera or probably just a light sensor is visible but the creator of hasn’t said anything about that. The standard stuff such as volume rockers, 3.5 mm headphone jack are also present.
You can check out rest of the images of Facebook-smartphone concept below,

There is also a image of this concept phone with a dock,

Facebook doesn’t has a good record in dealing with mobile apps and stuff, so it remains to be seen if Facebook can turn that around with it’s own smartphone.
Will you be buying it if Facebook does make a smartphone like this?

Top 10 Smartphones With The Longest Battery Life

Battery is one of the most crucial part of a smartphone, and can seriously let down a top-class smartphone. Consumers these days are more attracted with those phones, which are capable of going through a day of moderate use. Smartphone manufacturers such as Sony,HTC, Samsung and Motorola seem to be the first ones paying attention to this major problems having recently churned out a lot of phones with batteries which can keep up.

1. Motorola Droid Razr Maxx

Motorola Droid Razr Maxx, the bigger brother of the Droid Razr, is easily the top smartphone in the market when compared battery wise. Containing a monstrous 3300 mAh battery, this phone can easily get you through a couple of days on moderate usage. It has got nearly a day of talk time, 20 hours and 24 minutes to be exact, which is just incomparable and is almost 8 hours ahead of the 2nd smartphone with the best battery life. While the browsing time is also a big 7:23.

2. Samsung Galaxy Note

The big 5.3 inch-screen phablet by Samsung is no slouch in battery performance. Despite a gigantic screen, it also has a giant battery: 2500 mAh. The big battery is enough to power up the huge-phone, as well as giving it excellent battery performance with 12 hours and 14 min of talktime, though it was a bit marred by abysmal performance in the browsing area because of the gigantic screen, only 3 hours and 35 minutes.

3. HTC One X (AT&T Version)

The LTE-version of HTC One X managed it very well with it’s medium-sized 1800 mAh battery. The Snapdragon S4 processors used in this seems to be a lot more power-efficient than the Tegra 3 one used in the international version. This smartphone got 10 hours and 35 mins of talktime and a moderate 5 hours and 35 minutes of continuous browsing.

4. Samsung Galaxy S III

The new-king of Android smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S III, which was released last month is almost the perfect smartphone, including an excellent 2100 mAh battery. Despite a huge 4.8 inch screen, a quad-core processor and some other capabilities, the S III still touts a talk time of 10:20 as compared to 5 hours and 17 minutes of browsing.

5. HTC One V

Despite being the underdog in the One family, the HTC One V fairs a lot better than the other “Ones”. With a mild-1500 mAh battery, the HTC One V can give up to exactly 10 hours of talktime. While the One V has an excellent browsing time of 6 hours and 49 minutes.

6. HTC One X (International Version)

The international Tegra 3-version of the HTC One X isn’t bad after all. With the same 1800 mAh battery, it is just a few paces below it’s AT&T-specific brother. The One X can give you up to 9 hours and 57 minutes of talk time and 4 hours and 18 minutes of continuous browsing.

7. HTC One S

The best competitor of the One X(excluding the Galaxy S III) is none other than HTC’s own One S. It has a 1650 mAh battery, which can deliver a solid 9 hours and 42 minutes of talk time while the browsing time is is 4 hours and 3 minutes.

8. Samsung Galaxy R

The medium-speced Galaxy R by Samsung managed to prop-up for the 8th best phone with the longest battery life. The Samsung Galaxy R has a moderate 1650 mAh battery. The Galaxy R can easily deliver 9 hours and 40 minutes of talk time and a maximum browsing time of 5 hours and 7 minutes.

9. HTC Sensation XL

The Beats audio touting smartphone, HTC Sensation XL has got a 1600 mAh battery, compelling it to give a talk time of 9 hours and 30 minutes and a browsing time of 5 hours and 20 minutes.

10. Nokia Lumia 710

The Nokia Lumia 710 managed to become the first Windows Phone smartphone to be in the top 10 smartphones with the longest battery life despite it’s small, 1300 mAh battery. It gave a good 9 hours and 5 minutes of talk time and 3 hours and 51 minutes of continuous browsing.

BlackBerry (RIMM) Headed Towards Irrelevance

While to some people, like Bill Simmons, BlackBerrys are the only phones out there and started this SmartPhone revolution we now find ourselves in, Apple and Google through Android have taken the game to a new level and BlackBerry and its manufacturer Research In Motion have been left in the dust. Sure BlackBerries are far from gone but the RIMM stock has degraded substantially recently as more and more people are leaving their brand known for user difficulty for the easiness of Apple's iOS and Google's Anroid operating systems.
It has become a $30 stock after being valued at $140 three years ago. That's a pretty substantial decline even in this economy. Revenue has sunk to $4.91 billion, down from estimates easily over $5 billion. While earnings were slightly higher than expected at $1.33, that's still nothing compared to what the stock was just a few years ago. Revenue is down almost 20% from a year ago in an arguably worse economy. That's far from good in case you couldn't tell.

Just a couple of years ago, everyone out there was looking to get a BlackBerry but now nobody is. Apple and Android phones are booming in this SmartPhone revolution but what we've got now is an aging brand in BlackBerry that is going nowhere fast. They're stuck in a 2007 climate while Apple and Google continue to up the ante. Sure Research In Motion is still more popular than Windows Mobile Phones but what is that saying?
They're far from last in market share or earnings but compared to what they were, things aren't good. It's not out of the realm of possibility to see them sink into complete irrelevance. They've got to find a way to catch up to their more advanced competitors but they wouldn't be the first to fall to Apple and Google.
